RGVFC Commercial Shoot, Wednesday 5:30pm, H-E-B Park. Our local club is looking for kids 12 and under to be in their latest TV commercial.

Daymond John, UTRGV Distinguished Speaker Series, Wednesday 7:30-9pm, UTRGV Performing Arts Complex. Entrepreneur and Shark Tank star Daymond John is the latest in UTRGV’s Distinguished Speaker Series. Free and open to the public, but as always, UTRGV students, faculty and staff have first dibs on seating, so arrive early!

UTRGV Grad Fair 2018, Thursday 4-7pm, UTRGV Fieldhouse. Learn about all the programs UTRGV’s Graduate School has to offer. Free. Register in advance online.

MOST History Happy Hour: Beer, No Bull, Thursday 6-8pm, Museum of South Texas History. Tickets are $15 ($10 for Friends of the museum) to this monthly happy hour and networking event.

80’s Themed Blue Ribbon 5K Run/Walk, Saturday 8am, Edinburg Municipal Park. Benefits the RGV Diabetes Association. $20 adults, $10 for kids 13-17.

Foster Pawrent Workshop, Saturday 10-11am, The Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center. Learn what it takes to be a foster parent to a shelter dog or cat in this free workshop.

Strike Out Hunger, Sunday noon, UTRGV Baseball Stadium. Bring 5 non-perishable food items for free general admission and help out Food Bank RGV.
