11th Annual El Retorno: El Valle Celebra Nuestra Gloria Anzaldúa, Wednesday 10am-3pm, UTRGV Mexican American Studies (EDUC 2.216B). A celebration of the famed author, poet and scholar includes a ceremony at Anzaldua’s gravesite in Hargill followed by a lunch and symposium at UTRGV. Featured speaker: Dr. Maria Herrera-Sobek from UC Santa Barbara is the featured speaker. Free and open to the public.

Little League Day with UTRGV Baseball, Friday 7pm, UTRGV Baseball Stadium. $3 Tickets for all Little Leaguers who wear their jerseys to the game. Accompanying guests can also purchase tickets for just $3 each.

Kids to Parks Day Fossil Dig, Saturday 2-3pm, Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center. Bring your kids for some hands-on learning about fossils. $2 for members, $4 for non-members.

RGV FC Toros vs Swope Park Rangers, Saturday 7:30pm, H-E-B Park.

Sunday Speaker Series: The Journal of Dewitt Clinton Thomas, Sunday 2-3pm, Museum of South Texas History. Hear journal entries from a man who once roamed across Texas during the Sunday Speaker Series May 20 at 2 p.m. Included in regular admission.
